Katie Finnigan, PhD, MSW Intern

Katie Finnigan, PhD, is a clinical social work intern. They received a PhD in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and are pursuing an MSW at CUNY Lehman College. With extensive training in psychological research and social work, Katie brings an informed, warm, curious, and compassionate approach to therapy. Katie is interested in working with adults, young adults, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, body image and eating disorders, sexuality issues, and life transitions. They’re interested in using psychodynamic therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals and couples better understand themselves, their patterns, and their relationships.
