Skylynn Rosario, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
Skylynn earned her master's degree in social work from Fordham University and a bachelor's degree in sociology from CUNY John Jay. Her expertise lies in working with children, adolescents, client with Autism, ADD/ADHD, depression, grief/bereavement and trauma. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, family therapy and Christian and faith-based therapy when working with her clients. She also specializes in perinatal and postpartum mental health and caregivers of individuals with special needs.
Skylynn works with children ages 4-12, teens ages 13-18, young adults ages 19-29 and adults. Skylinn speaks conversational Spanish fluently and fluent in English. What inspires her work most is witnessing her client's resilience and fostering a sense of empowerment of her clients as they face trauma and challenges. She helps people turn pain into growth and strengthens connections while being part of her clients healing journey which she finds profoundly rewarding.
Clients describe her as being empathetic, lighthearted, and innovative with a natural ability to problem-solve and maintain a positive outlook. Her clients have highlighted her attentiveness and listening skills.
