As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in the Bronx, I have devoted my career to assisting individuals, children of all ages, and families from various backgrounds. My professional experience includes working in diverse environments such as the NYC Department of Education (DOE), Early Intervention programs, and restorative justice initiatives. I have been fortunate to help clients overcome challenges and realize their full potential through a holistic, strengths-based approach.

a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), and trauma-informed practices, I am deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with.

Civita Vitiello-Alvarado, LCSW, has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religious Studies from CUNY Hunter College and a Master degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. She is Bilingual and fluent in Italian.
